When was the last time you were assigned a research project? In what subject was it? What did you do? How did you feel about it? What did you think about it? Was it hard? Easy? Interesting? Boring? A burden? A joy? What was your project about? Did your teacher give you a choice of topics or was a topic assigned to you?

The last time i was assigned a research project was my junior year in AP Language and Composition. For this research paper we had to choose a side and research about serial killers and why they do what they do. I was very interested in writing this research paper. The paper was not hard to write after all of the research was together. The topic I chose was 'What causes serial killers to kill? Is it an emotional aspect of their lives that causes them to act like this?' We were assigned the topic but we had the opportunity to choose our question that needed to be answered throughout the research paper.
